“Life is Kind!”

This picture hangs in my office/podcast studio and holds a very special meaning for me.
The positive mindset, the fresh and vibrant colors, and the integrated affirmations represent essential parts of who I am.

That’s me!

My friends call me Caro! Humor, enthusiasm, honesty, and authenticity are at the very core of who I am. When I’m passionate about something, my eyes light up, and when I truly want something, I give 150%. I love all forms of communication and have a natural ability to empathize with others. Building relationships comes easily to me — including across cultures. My emotions are always written on my face.

With a background in business administration, I began my career in the rehabilitation industry. I led international sales and worked worldwide with people facing extreme challenges — from seriously ill children and wheelchair users to caregiving family members.

But above all, my personal life has shaped me. In 2005, my father lost his battle with cancer, and a year later, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor myself. In 2007, I started my own business as an intercultural trainer for companies. I’m a mother of two, a wife, a sister, and a best friend — all part of a strong team. As the mother of a child with a rare, life-threatening condition — Loeys-Dietz Syndrome — I’ve learned to live with uncertainty while maintaining my joy for life. Every crisis challenges our family, but together we grow through it.

From 2010 to 2015, we lived in the USA as a family, where our second son was born. Since 2016, we have returned to Europe and settled in Switzerland. I find foreign cultures fascinating and enriching — perhaps one reason I no longer live in my home country, Germany.

Since 2023, I have been a professional speaker, mentor, author, and podcaster. This work fulfills me and continues to help me manage daily uncertainty and fears of loss.
